Hello Mr.V, Yes, the news is correct. Amitabh Bachan will be visiting CT in December and talking on variety of topics (which can be confirmed from the pamphlet being distributed at the community center), as well as giving motivational speech to youth. If you are interested in buying tickets for the event, let me know. I am not selling tickets myself but I know the person who is. I can hook you up with him for a small commission. The tickets are VERY VERY limited as the community center has maximum capacity of 40 people only. I can't say for sure, but more than 30 tickets have already been sold out and each individual can buy no more than 1 ticket on his ID.
