I travelled in Etihad last year and i had to take wheel chair. Their service was really really awesome mine was also through abu dhabi. As soon as you get out of the plane they will be ready outside with the wheel chair and if needed they will come directly to your seat and pick you up if you let know the air hostess know.But you have to call them and ask for assistance atleast prior 24 hrs you can contact me for more details 9377010268
