If u r the only child then u gotta spend some time talking to them..i know we cant talk daily and also we dont hv much topics here to talk.If they hv a good relation with ur wife u can both talk like what u hv done what new things ur kid has learned and what e!se ur parents r doingin India ur hometown any new developments or politics etc Talk about climate like snow etc.Then they will open up slowly .Already they might hv feeling different thinking wat to talk wen u r in usa and they r in India so break the ice and start silly funny conversations sometimes even stuff from ur childhood funnyincidents from ur wife s life too(If she is comf. only)if u hv siblings u guys can conference or ved call and talk that way u wont run out of topics.They dont expect u to talk to them for an hr but they surely expect u to call them once in a while. Coming to money n stuff i really cant comment cos it involves lot of other thingz.
