I was discussing the same with one of my friend. Eradicating all guns from USA is not a practical thought, if that happens ,it is more good. But best way to prevent the guns is (my thought)-- Do more background checks. Increase minimum age to 35 or 40 to hold guns. Increase the cost of guns and bullets, so that only super rich can afford guns. Most of the crimes other than the mass murders come from the street fellows who own the guns just like buying tennis rocket and owning bullets like chewing gums. Rich people fear for the crimes thinking if they fall down from their luxuries...
