Condo you don't have to worry about the external things as it is covered under your monthly fees which includes snow removal, trash removal, landscaping and weather related damage. House you have to take care of internal and external as you are responsible for everything. It would be your call whether you want to own everything and do everything or want to only manage few things. Condo fees may be high in some places but sometimes you end up spending way more in your own house. Lastly, houses can also be hard to sell and nothing is guaranteed.
