People think it's easy but IT job is like any other job and is tough. If on H1B Atleast initially you will have to join a desi consultancy that will offer you some training and placement. If on opt or green card you can try learning one technology online and try for direct entry level jobs. Pay will be less but less stressful than consultancy job.
