LameAdvisor - you are exactly that - lame. You NEVER try to time the market, and you always invest regularly over a period of time and never at once or in one stock. The simple advice is to invest in low cost index fund like the vanguard S&P 500 index fund. If you just do that the money will double in 10 years. That and the power of compounding is what you need to learn about. I have been doing that over the last 15 years or so - cam here on h1 and am currently a citizen. You do need to save for emergencies and shot term, but for things like retirement, kids education etc. you do need to invest - not investing is just foolish and a Lame Advice. And investing does not mean try to time the market.
