There are no possible options apart from getting appointment.. If you are not green card holder/citizen, you may not go to AAA since it requires immigration check which can only be done at Full Service DMV offices.. Appointments are about a month away but you will have to keep checking as in some instances, some random spots get open early like a day or a week before but they go out quickly. Since DMV is currently working only on appointment basis, there is no other way but to schedule an appointment asap. If you are in Hartford, Wethersfield or New Britain DMVs are your best bet to go by appt and get it done.
