I just wanted to check how is hamden, ct as a place for living before i book an apartment there. Just wanted to make sure it is not famous for more crime rate or something. Any help is appreciated.

I have seen very bad reviews of this apartment everywhere e.g. the apartment is really old, maintenance is very bad, electricity bills 400$(really high), heat does not work....
I would like to hear if somebody currently stays there can deny any one of this.

if u r looking for apartments, there is a big indian community in Robert Treat Apartments - its off Bridgeport Avenue at Robert Treat Drive and its also close to the milford railway station.

Hi, If you are living with family, its best to move to West Hartford, Farmington areas which is very close to Hartford. Its very safe.

(at) Clocktower Mill :The goods and the bads: The overal quality of the neighborhood is questionable, I met some nice folks, but at least once a month i would encounter somebody smoking weed on the hallways, etc. not an issue, but if i had kids etc, not the best environment. It is not a bad place, but if quality of life is something you can afford, and deem important, i'd stay clear of this historic dump.I am familiar with area call me if you need to talk (at) 860-seven eight one, Six, O,three, 4.

Its calm but no fresh air.It will look like a motel from inside. Some kind of stinky smells will be all over the apartment.
Only few desi family's are staying here.we took it for just 6 months lease.
Gas, hot water,heat are included in the rent.Thats the only best thing in the apartment.$700 per month for 1year lease, $800 per month for 6 months lease for 1 bed room apartment.
If you are still interested to stay in gateway condominium apartment i would like to give the leasing number.
